In 1982, Squier introduced its inaugural instruments, addressing the growing demand for more accessible Fender® designs while retaining the essence of the brand's craftsmanship. To mark 40 years of delivering high-quality, affordable options, the Squier 40th Anniversary Collection presents special editions of iconic models, including the Telecaster®, Stratocaster®, Jazzmaster®, Precision Bass®, and Jazz Bass®. These are offered in two distinct series: the Gold Edition and the Vintage Edition.

The Squier® 40th Anniversary Precision Bass®, Gold Edition exemplifies elegance and sophistication with its meticulously crafted enhancements. It features gold-plated hardware, a gold anodized aluminum pickguard, and a bound Indian laurel fingerboard adorned with pearloid block inlays. An engraved anniversary neck plate and a lustrous gloss finish elevate its visual appeal, making it stage-ready. Functionally, the bass is equipped with a slim "C"-shaped neck profile for ergonomic comfort, vintage-style tuning machines, and a 4-saddle bridge with barrel saddles, delivering authentic tonal precision.
