Terms of Use:
This Goldies Music Company Limited ecommerce shopping site at goldiesmusic.co.nz (website and includes references to “(s)ite”) is a shopping website where you can browse, select and order products from Goldies Music Company Limited (Goldies Music) and includes references to "us" or "we" or “our”. Customers includes references to “you” or “your” or “yours”.

Your access to and use of the site, including your order of products through the site, is governed by these terms and conditions. You agree to be bound by, and comply with, these terms and conditions of use.

The information on this site is up to date at the time it is posted, but we reserve the right to change it from time to time. While we provide the information on this site in good faith, we accept no responsibility for accuracy, completeness, suitability for your intended use or the timeliness of the information.

You agree to comply with all relevant laws relating to your use of the site and your placement of any order through the site.



Business Use / Purchases and the Consumer Guarantees Act:

We believe it is important to clarify your rights as a purchaser where there may be a “Business Use” component to the sale.

Therefore, please be aware, where the buyer is acquiring the product for the purpose of business then the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply. 



“Business” includes any performance of a public nature - whether paid or otherwise - and includes, but is not limited to, Schools, Churches, Institutions, working musicians, installations, hospitality, and studios.

This exclusion also applies for goods purchased for resale or use in repairs or goods used for purposes other than domestic, personal and/or household use.

No other warranties either express or implied by law are made with respect to these goods.

Price:
All prices are in NZ$ and include GST, unless otherwise stated. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the price of the goods will be the current price on the day of delivery of the goods

Price Match:
Goldies Music is committed to offering competitive pricing. If you find the same product offered by another authorised New Zealand retailer at a lower price, we may be able to match or beat that price at our discretion.

To qualify, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be identical in brand, model, specification and condition (new).
  • The competitor must be an authorised New Zealand retailer, not an auction site or marketplace seller.
  • The item must be in stock and available for immediate purchase.
  • The competing price must include all applicable shipping charges and GST.
  • The offer must be current, verifiable, and not part of a liquidation, clearance, closeout, fire sale, or going-out-of-business event.

We reserve the right to decline a price match request for any reason, including but not limited to stock limitations, third-party pricing errors, or promotional conditions we cannot replicate.
All price match requests must be submitted prior to purchase.

Returns and Refund Policy:
If you change your mind, we offer store credit for eligible returns made within 14 days of purchase.
We do not offer cash refunds if you change your mind about a purchase.

If goods are faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy.

If you change your mind, we offer store credit for goods returned within 14 days of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must contact us first to request a Return Authorisation. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
  • Goods must be returned at the customer's expense (Return to Base), in original, unused condition, with all original condition packaging, accessories, and manuals intact.
  • Goods that are damaged, incomplete, missing packaging or accessories, or show signs of use will not be accepted for store credit.
  • Store credit will be issued once the returned goods are received, inspected, and accepted back into stock.

Special order products, clearance items, and hygiene-sensitive products (such as headphones, reeds, and mouthpieces) are not eligible for return unless faulty.

Goods that have been tampered with, modified, or damaged by the customer or carrier cannot be accepted for return.

Products imported specially at a customer's request (special orders) cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty or not as described. A deposit may be required at the time of ordering.

Goldies Music Company reserves the right to determine whether a returned product meets the conditions above.

Delivery:
Goldies Music Company shall deliver the goods to the residential address or the business address as notified by the Customer.

Goldies Music Company shall deliver the goods by such carrier and in such form of transport it considers appropriate.

Goldies Music Company will not be responsible for any consequential damages arising directly or indirectly from late delivery or non-delivery.

Risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer at the time the goods are received by the carrier to be delivered to the Customer.

We offer free shipping on orders of $99 or more. Some items, such as certain drum kits (e.g., the NUX DM-8), are excluded from this offer as they are generally oversized for shipping and cannot be sent via standard courier services.

Warranty:
All of our products are backed by the manufacturers warranty.

Please note that this warranty only applies to manufacturer's defects and does not cover general wear and tear, improper use, damage caused through neglect or poor storage, delivery costs or damage caused through unauthorised repairs.

These warranties do not extend to normal wear and tear or damage caused by abuse, misuse or negligence, tonal characteristics, strings, any modifications, or damage in transit. Failure to comply with the maintenance instructions will void the warranty.

Goldies Music Company will endeavour to either repair or replace the defective goods. If repair or replacement is not practicable, Goldies Music Company Limited will refund the purchase price.

The Customer shall be responsible for the costs associated with delivering the goods to and from Goldies Music Company for repair or replacement purposes.

In most cases, the local NZ distributor will take care of the return/repair or replacement of warranty claims. We will advise on the process and expected time frames on a case by case basis.

Cancelling Orders:
You may cancel an order if it has not yet been shipped. Please contact us immediately to arrange cancellation.
If you paid using a third-party finance provider such as Afterpay, please note that cancellation may be subject to that provider's terms and conditions, and processing fees charged to Goldies Music may not be refundable.

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date stock information on our website. However, some stock availability is sometimes provided through third parties and is not updated in real-time in our system. While we make every effort to reflect the most current stock levels, there may be instances where an item listed as "available" is no longer in stock due to sudden changes in supplier inventory. In the event that an item is unavailable after purchase, we will notify you promptly and provide you with options such as a refund, backorder, or alternative product. We appreciate your understanding and recommend contacting us directly pre-purchase for the latest stock confirmation if your order is time-sensitive.
